Loneliness is a challenge faced by many young people and is something the College is taking steps to address. At a recent Buddy Day held at Pontypool Campus, a small group of learners from across the College came together to speak about social isolation and how to tackle it.

Coleg Gwent students have struck gold at the recent WorldSkills UK LIVE national finals, beating counterparts from colleges across the UK at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday 23rd November.

We're working with the Welsh Government to launch a new initiative offering people the chance to gain the skills and qualifications they need to re-write their career.

Well done to our students who are using their artistic talents to create bespoke bowling pins for a charity auction from City of Newport Campus have been thanked by Gwent Police for supporting their fundraising drive for Motor Neurone disease.
