The Welsh language and culture of Wales is important to us at Coleg Gwent and we’re proud of our Welsh identity and roots. So, this week, we’re celebrating Welsh Language Week.

We’re celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month with a range of activities throughout February. All learners and staff are invited to show their support and get involved and we pride ourselves on being a friendly, welcoming and inclusive college.

As someone who enjoys writing essays and analysing as part of her learning, A levels were the ideal route for Tegan, who chose to study at Torfaen Learning Zone.

Congratulations to Independent Living Skills (ILS) learner, Matthew Morley from the City of Newport Campus, who beat over 230 competitors to win a title in the Leonard Cheshire (CanDo) Strictly Cymru Dance competition.
