Course content
This qualification consists of units at level 2 and 3 combined to provide you with the required underpinning knowledge to afford direct progression onto specific modality training at level 4 +.
Topic covered on the course include:
- Maintain health and safety in the salon
- Skin analysis and facial skincare
- Consultation and client care
- Anatomy, physiology and pathology
- Electrical science
Throughout this qualification, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, anatomy, physiology, and pathology and electrical science, alongside skin analysis and safe practice treatment protocols for facial skin care. You will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.
Assessment is through externally set theory exams, practical assessments and a portfolio of evidence.
Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements but a good level of academic ability is required to support you through this course.
Additional information
You will be required to wear a clinic uniform and suitable footwear.
The course fees include tuition and registration fees. Tuition fees are due at the time of booking/enrolment. If required, this can be by direct debit, over five instalments. If your employer is funding your course, confirmation of this in writing will be required so that the college can arrange to invoice them.
After booking your course you have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund. You can still request a refund after this date, but this will only be given if you meet the criteria from the college fee policy.
If your chosen course starts within 14 days of you booking your place, then the 14 day refund policy does not apply and any refund will be subject to the college fee policy.
