This 10 week course is aimed at complete beginners wishing to learn some of the basic floristry techniques and designs; either for personal development or as first steps to employment in the floristry industry.

Course content
You'll understand how to care for, condition and use a diverse range of flowers and foliage. You will create a wide range of beautiful floral designs including hand-tied bouquets, table centrepieces, basic wedding and an introduction to sympathy flowers.
There is an informal assessment and verbal feedback from your tutor in the classroom.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal requirements, just an interest in learning flower arranging.
Additional information
During each session you will be provided with the materials to complete the session. These are covered in the material cost. A few more items may need to be purchased during the course and you may wish to purchase specific items to achieve a more personal look.
