In a nutshell
As a more advanced course, this provides professional status in counselling – and is particularly useful if your work role requires counselling skills.
This course is for...
…anyone whose work might involve counselling, such as nursing, teaching, social work, the police or armed forces.
Course content
This course will give you a comprehensive ability in both counselling skills and theory, with the ability to apply this in practice. It’ll also enable you to identify and pursue further career development in your own professional field or personally.
You’ll be assessed through practical work, assessed use of skills, written journals and assignments and a 2-hour written examination, and on successful completion of the course you’ll be able to move on to Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
Entry Requirements
You’ll need to have completed a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling or equivalent.
Suitability for study will be considered by interview process.
Additional information
You’ll also be invited to interview prior to acceptance on the course.
After booking your course you have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund. You can still request a refund after this date, but this will only be given if you meet the criteria from the college fee policy.
If your chosen course starts within 14 days of you booking your place, then the 14 day refund policy does not apply and any refund will be subject to the college fee policy.
All courses may be subject to change and cancelled if deemed not viable to run.
